Social Justice Kids' Space
The BESJ Conference is pleased to offer a Social Justice Kids Space this year. Children age 4-12 are welcome to register here for a day of FREE activities. Parents are encouraged to check in throughout the day and welcome to have their children join them at lunchtime in the cafeteria.
Program highlights:
Local Fenway High School teacher and students will offer a morning of "Building Identidad: Exposing our children to Afro Caribbean and Mayan history through art and craft." Later in the day, Laura from hand in hand arts in Somerville will offer social justice-focused arts experiences for the young people. Outdoor activities such as sidewalk chalking will also be included weather permitting.
